Mind the gap between billed and banked

When you mark an invoice paid, Billable asks what actually arrived — the amount, the date, the route it came through, and any fee the provider disclosed. The amount comes prefilled with what the invoice was worth at that day's mid-market rate, so accepting it unchanged records a clean payment, and anything less is the cut. You see it worked out live, before you save.

Each settled invoice then carries a payment card showing what was kept and what percentage that is, the disclosed fee against the margin hidden in the exchange rate, and the same cut annualised. Your dashboard rolls it into a "lost in transit" view — the total, your weighted average cut, and a breakdown by route with the steepest first, so the expensive way of getting paid is obvious.
