Terms of Service

The rules for using Billable — your account, payments and the legal bits.

Last updated July 29, 2026

The short version

Billable is a subscription tool for running the money side of a solo business. It costs $9 a month, billed until you cancel. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of your billing period. The invoices, clients and financial records you create are yours. Don’t use Billable for anything illegal, and don’t try to break it. We may change the price or the product, and we’ll tell you when it matters.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Billable web application and any related tool or service (“Service”) operated by Mono Software (OPC) Private Limited (“Mono”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of India.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Billable is web-based software that helps solopreneurs create invoices, manage clients and projects, and track the financial side of their business. Features, pricing, and availability are described on our product pages and may change at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Billable is offered as a paid subscription. Where applicable:

  • The Service is billed on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout ($9 per month unless stated otherwise) until you cancel.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Mono does not store your payment card details.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments already made are generally non-refundable. Refunds are issued solely at Mono’s discretion, typically only where the Service failed to function as described.
  • Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise and may change at any time. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it affects you.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to create fraudulent invoices or records
  • Submit content that is abusive, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service
  • Use automated means to access or scrape the Service beyond normal use
  • Misuse or circumvent any payment or access control mechanism

6. Your Content

The content you create in Billable — including invoices, client details, project data, and financial records (“Your Content”) — remains yours. By using the Service, you grant Mono a limited license to store and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content and for meeting any tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations that apply to your business. Billable is a tool, not a substitute for professional advice.
