Attach documents
The paperwork, kept with the work
Keep the contract, the brief and the receipt right next to the work they belong to — attached to the client, project, invoice, quote or contractor, not lost in your inbox.
What it is
Attach a file to almost anything in Billable — a client, a project, an invoice, a quote or a contractor. Upload contracts, briefs, receipts or anything else up to 20 MB each, and Billable keeps the original file name, type and size alongside it so the list stays easy to scan.
Every file lives in private storage that only you can reach — opening or downloading one uses a short-lived secure link, never a public URL. Open a file in a click, download it under its original name, or remove it when it's no longer needed. Delete the record it's attached to and its documents go with it, so nothing is left orphaned.
Why it makes your life simpler
Less admin, more of the work you actually enjoy.
Paperwork where it belongs
The signed contract sits on the project and the receipt on the invoice — so the file is exactly where you'll look for it, not buried in email.
Private by default
Files live in private storage and open through short-lived secure links, so your documents stay yours.
Nothing left behind
Documents are tied to the record they're attached to, so removing a client or invoice cleans up its files too.
