What it is

Turn notifications on for a device and Billable sends you a daily digest at an hour you pick — in your own local time, not some server's. It covers the invoices that have gone overdue, what's due over the next week and any drafts you haven't sent yet. On Mondays you also get a short summary of the week just gone: hours tracked, invoiced and paid. Amounts are always shown in the currency they were billed in, never converted into a number that isn't real.

Between digests, Billable nudges you as things happen: an invoice tips overdue, a client payment is coming due, a sent quote is about to expire, a timer has been running for hours because you forgot to stop it, or an automatic reminder has gone out to a client. Each one is a separate toggle, so you can keep the ones that matter and switch off the rest. Tap a notification and the app opens straight to the invoice, quote or timer it's about.

It works on Android, Windows, macOS and Linux straight from your browser — installing Billable as an app is nicer, but not required. iPhone and iPad are the exception: Apple only delivers notifications to an app that's been added to the Home Screen, so install it there first and Billable will walk you through it.
